In this video tutorial I will show you how to use free plugin "Blur's random walk" as force, to make particle move in random/natural ways. In thinkingParticles, with help of SC operator, we can make each paper collide each other. And we will use PSeclection to manually delete the papers that penetrate to each other.
In this article, I outline my FumeFX-Krakatoa workflow, cause too many steps, so easy to forget ; ) With this tech, you can create ink-like, ghost feeling particle effects.
Here we create a teapot moving from left to right and right to left, move up and down, move backward and forward. In 3ds max, with V-Ray renderer, generate a color map represent 2D directional (vector) information, which we can use it in NUKE for motion blur effect.
Sometime we need to add some variation to our particles, however the standard Wind spacewrap is not very directable/controllable. Here I demonstrate three methods to add subtle movement to your particle. 1)using Blurbeta's random walk spacewrap 2)using A-bomb operator in tP 3) using Bubble Motion operator in tP
And finally, we combine those methods to create more complex particle motion. Have fun ; )
